Mosonmagyaróvár is located in West Hungary, just a few kms from the Austrian and Slovakian borders. Main roads are running across the town towards Budapest. Programmes in Budapest

Sightseeing in Budapest by day: We begin the tour in the downtown to admire the Andrassy Avenue and the State Opera and other beautiful buildings til we get to the Heroes’ Square where we take a photo stop.The square hosts fine statues depicting the most important Hungarian rulers.Then we continue the tour via inner city through the Elisabeth Bridge. Getting to the Buda side of the capital we drive to the top of the Gellért Hill,from where the panorama is breathtaking( photo stop).After that we take you to the Castle District to sample the Matthias Church,(from outside), the Fishermen’s Bastion and some fine buildings of medieval origin.Having seen the sights we drive you back to the city center. Budapest by night with dinner: Spend a pleasant evening in a traditional restaurant and enjoy a typical dinner with a folklore show. In the rustic restaurant after the welcome drink you will be served a 3-course menu with wine. During the dinner you can enjoy a folklore show accompanied by a gypsy band. After dinner we will start the sightseeing through the illuminated city and show you the most interesting beauty spots. Duration: 4,5 hours Departure: daily 19.30

The Danube Bend Tou: An excursion into Hungary’s history combined with breathtaking views of the Danube valley. Balaton-Herend Tour: Balaton, the “Hungarian sea” is one of the largest lakes is Europe and the main holiday destination in Hungary. We show you the oldest spa resort by the lake, Balatonfüred and the Tihany Peninsula, the first nature reserve of Hungary. After the 3-course lunch in a traditional restaurant we will visit the world famous porcelain factory in Herend with a possibility to shop in the factory store. Duration: 9 hours

Szentendre Tour: Szentendre, the artists’ town, is a small baroque city with a Mediterranean atmosphere. We will go for a walk in the centre, visit the Marzipan museum and invite you for a coffee or cake. In your free time you can shop from a great selection of Hungarian crafts, visit museums, galleries or the “Caprice” jewellery showroom and museum. From May to September you have a 1-hour boat trip to return to Budapest. Duration: 4 hours

Gödöllő Tour: The excursion to Gödöllő includes a visit to the largest baroque palace of Hungary, where the admired Queen Elisabeth (Sisi) spent 2000 nights more than in Schönbrunn. The renovated rooms regained their past splendour and provide detailed introduction to the interior of royal suites in Hungary. After the visit we go for a walk through the park and we invite you for a coffee or a cake in the Palace Café. Duration: 4 hours
